TMC works to get teens involved with understanding, preserving and protecting the past, present, and future of our community as the next generation who will inherit it.
We do this by...
Understanding our community's history through speaking to and learning from those who have kept the stories of our county's community for generations.
Preserving our beautiful Appalachia environment by clean-ups of our roads and our green spaces.
Protecting our right to know and be involved within our local government, by educating ourselves on the responsibilities of citizenship, and how we can take action.

Preserving Madison: History Book Project
In the spring of 2024, Teens of Madison County is partnering with Madison Early College High School to publish a book featuring a collection of songs, stories, history, lore and art from generational locals of Madison County. Preserving the rich history of Madison County through art and storytelling.
Madison County Board of Commissioners Q&A
In early April 2024, TMC plans to hold another Q&A with local high school students and representatives from our Madison County Board of Commissioners. This event will allow local youth to learn more about the workings of our local government.
